1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, deploying our script, or utilizing any services offered at TellBack, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are signing up on behalf of an organization or company, you warrant that you have the legal authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. Service Description
TellBack operates a user-feedback collection and task-generation pipeline. We provide a client-side JavaScript snippet (widget.js) that captures clicks, scroll timelines, device specifications, browser metadata, JS console error events, viewport screenshots, and voice/audio reports on whitelisted origins. Captured signals are processed via Firebase and Google Cloud Vertex AI services to compile task cards and prompt instructions for coding agents.
3. User Responsibility & Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, session tokens, and invite variables. You agree to assume full responsibility for all activities, integration changes, origin modifications, and billing actions initiated under your workspace profile.
4. Widget Installation & Data Collection Limits
You must only install the TellBack script on websites, apps, and domains that you own, operate, or are explicitly authorized to manage.
Your Widget Responsibilities:
- Configure whitelisted Allowed Origins to prevent unauthorized key reuse.
- Implement PII exclusions using the
data-tellback-ignoreHTML attribute over fields handling billing data, passwords, and regulated personal identifiers. - Acknowledge that Vertex AI generates output tasks based on captured user cues, which may not always be complete or accurate. You must review tasks before deploying edits.
- Furnish appropriate notices and obtain necessary tracking consent from your website visitors before recording voice audio or tracking mouse patterns where required by law.
5. Billing, Subscription Tiers & Trials
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly schedule via Stripe:

6. Cancellation, Downgrades & Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal. Canceling an active subscription sets cancel_at_period_end to true. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, at which point the workspace will downgrade to the free Solo tier.
Refund Policy: All charges are generally non-refundable. We evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis or as required by law.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
TellBack is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free logs, or absolute Vertex AI uptime. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages, business interruptions, data loss, or server fees resulting from widget execution.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with local regulations, without giving effect to conflicts of law principles. Any legal actions arising out of these terms must be filed in the appropriate local jurisdiction.
