Frequently Asked Questions

Common developer and operator questions about integrating and running TellBack.

Last updated:

Here are answers to frequently asked questions about TellBack.

Does TellBack affect client page load times?

No. TellBack utilizes an asynchronous, non-blocking loader script. Telemetry event collection runs in the background using lightweight listeners, and events are batched and flushed periodically to prevent thread congestion.

Can I integrate TellBack into a React or Next.js Single Page Application?

Yes. SPA integration is fully supported. Use client wrappers around the script tag and ensure that SPA route transitions are logged correctly via history patching.

Site owners are responsible for evaluating their local regulatory environment, providing notices, and obtaining any required consent. Depending on your configuration (such as session replay or email tracking), visitors should be notified of diagnostics collection.

Can visitors book demos offline?

No. Slot calculations and transactional double-booking protections are evaluated server-side. The widget requires active internet connections to query availability and confirm bookings.

What happens when Google Calendar is disconnected?

Disconnecting Google Calendar revokes and deletes OAuth tokens. It does not delete existing calendar entries in your Google account. Future bookings remain functional and will use local TellBack availability.
